Chuseok is the most important holiday in Korea.
Chuseok, originally known as Hangawi, is a major harvest festival and a three-day holiday in Korea celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar.
Hangawi falls on September 8 this year.
During Hangawi, Koreans visit their hometowns. They visit their family graves.
Koreans like to wear hanbok(traditional Korean clothes) on Chuseok or Seolnal (Korean New Year’s Day).
